JOB SUMMARY:

Seeking a full-time physician who is board eligible/board certified in Gastroenterology (Internal Medicine) for a staff position in Primary Care Service Line. All individuals applying under this announcement must meet the qualifications for appointment as contained in VA Handbook 5005, Part II, Appendix G2, Physician Qualification Standard. candidates. Must possess/maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice in a state, territory or commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.

Qualifications and Evaluations

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level close to the work of this job that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform. Typically we would find this experience in work within this field or a field that is closely related.

Board eligible in Gastroenterology/board certified preferred.   All individuals applying under this announcement must meet the qualifications for appointment as contained in VA Handbook 5005, Part II, Appendix G2, Physician Qualification Standard. candidates. Must possess/maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice in a state, territory or commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.

You will need to successfully complete a background security investigation before you can be appointed into this position.
