MINIMUM FEDERAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifying experience for the GS-9 level includes one year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-7 level which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: The experience requirement for the GS-9 level may be met by two (2) full academic years of graduate level education or completion of all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or completion of all requirements for an LL.B or J.D. degree.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of successfully completed education and experience may be used to meet the experience requirements.

Specialized experience includes but is not limited to preparing routine reports, certification of budget issues, position papers, evaluate single program analysis. Compiling data and used pre-determined formulas to prepare budget estimates. Analyzing well established programs and policy similar in nature. Enters budgetary data in a variety of forms, schedules, reports, and electronic systems, and recommends and makes adjustments when required. Prepares a variety of reports related to the status of funds, expenses, and obligations. Monitor's the execution of the organization's operating budget to ensure proper allocation and obligation of funds.

BASIS OF RATING: The category rating procedure is used to rank and select eligible candidates.
