The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks (VHSO), Fayetteville, Arkansas is seeking a full time physician who is board certified in General Surgery or General Surgery with sub-specialty training and has a strong demonstrated track record of surgical experience.

1.Must be U.S. citizen or be authorized to work in the United States.
2.Candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English.
3.Degree of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
4.Board Certified in General Surgery; and must possess/maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice in a state, territory or commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
5.Must pass a pre-employment physical examination, which may include drug testing.
6.National Provider Identifier will be requested prior to appointment.
7.Supervisory probationary period required.
Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
