Positions are located in FDA Headquarters in the Washington 
Metropolitan Area. Positions may be filled in the following program 
areas: Office of the Commissioner, Office of Regulatory Affairs, 
Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, Center for Drug 
Evaluation and Research, Center for Veterinary Medicine, Center for 
Devices and Radiological Health, and Center for Food Safety and 
Applied Nutrition.

Tenure: Career/Career Conditional/Temporary/Term Appointment
Bargaining Unit Position: May vary by center and grade level. 
(Positions that are not supervisory may be in the bargaining unit).
Recruitment Incentive: Some positions are eligible for 
incentives.
Relocation Paid: No
Probation: A one-year probationary period may be required 
upon selection/placement.

THE ACTUAL GRADE LEVEL AND PROMOTION POTENTIAL FOR 
EACH POSITION WILL BE DECIDED BY EACH CENTER PROCESS WHERE THE 
SELECTION WILL BE MADE.
