JOB SUMMARY:
The mission of the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) is to increase
food security and reduce hunger in partnership with cooperating
organizations by providing children and low-income people with
access to food, a healthy diet, and nutrition education in a manner
that supports American agriculture and inspires public confidence.

    This position is targeted for mission-focused new or  mid-level  professionals and requires the incumbent to serve as a Program Specialist and provide training and technical assistance to State and other cooperating agencies, evaluate administration and operation of programs, and assist in resolution of problems interfering with the delivery of program services.
