This is a primary law enforcement position. Persons making their first entry into a law enforcement position cannot be selected if over the age of 37. Applications must include your date of birth.
Position is Subject to Furlough. Incumbent will be furloughed a minimum of 2 payperiods up to 6 months each year; however, the expected furlough period is 2 payperiods.
Applicants must possess an NPS I or II Law Enforcement Commission, previously possessed an NPS I or II Law Enforcement Commission within the past three years, completion within the last three years of an approved NPS Seasonal Law Enforcement Training Program (SLETP), or current enrollment in an NPS approved SLETP.
