APPOINTMENT FACTORS:  This is a Permanent Excepted Service position. This is a bargaining unit position.

WHO MAY APPLY:  All qualified Missouri traditional guard members and those eligible for enlistment, appointment or transfer into the Missouri Air National Guard. AGR personnel at the 139th Airlift Wing, St. Joseph, MO may retain their AGR status at management's discretion if selected for this position.

NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED:  This is an Excepted position that requires active membership in a compatible skill in the Missouri Air National Guard and wear of the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment. Applicants who are not currently enlisted in the Missouri Air National Guard must be eligible for immediate enlistment or appointment. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be AFSC qualified within 12 months from date of appointment.

Maximum Military Grade – TSgt (E-6)

Minimum Military Grade – AIC (E-3 promotable to SRA E-4)

Enlisted – AFSC 3E0XX

Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion).

IMPORTANT NOTES: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances are not authorized for this position. Required Security Clearance is Noncritical Sensitive.
