SALARY RANGE: 49,544.00 - 77,194.00 USD /year
PLUS 25% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA). COLA is not subject to federal income tax and is not included as salary for annuity calculations. CY 2010 will begin the transition to locality pay.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Natural Resources Conservation Service provides leadership in a partnership effort to help people conserve, maintain, and improve our natural resources and environment. http://www.nrcs.usda.gov

This position is located in the state office of the Natural Resources Conservation Service in Honolulu, Hawaii, where the incumbent serves as a Soil Conservationist under the Assistant Director for Programs. The incumbent serves on the Programs staff and is responsible for conservation programs, policies and procedures in order to provide technical advice and management leadership to implement programs and facilitate attainment of agency performance goals. The incumbent serves as the primary program leader for the EQIP program.

First Post of Duty travel expenses may be paid for per diem, mileage, and transportation of household goods in accordance with P.L. 89-516 and appropriate Federal regulations.
