Put your professional knowledge of medicine to the test.  Provide diagnosis, prevention, therapy, maintenance and rehabilitation to members of a family or comparable social unit.  Provide such services and utilize and coordinate the services of other health care professionals in the management of the family's medical, psychological, and social problems.  Positions in this specialization emphasize comprehensive continuing family-oriented health and medical care services. Qualifications and Evaluations

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:



  1. Degree: MD or DO from an accredited school in the United States or Canada. Is your degree from a foreign medical school? If yes, then you must have a Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) or fifth pathway certificate. Please make sure your resume reflects your ECFMG certificate number or fifth pathway certificate including date awarded. Also, please be prepared to provide your official college transcript and/or certificate upon request at a later date.  AND

  2. Graduate Training:  Subsequent to obtaining your MD or DO, your resume must show 4-5 years of residency training in the specialty or equivalent experience and training (e.g., completion of 3 year Family Medicine residency and 1-2 years experience as Family Medicine Physician).  Please make sure your resume reflects the location, duration, and specialty of your internship, residency, etc. AND

  3. Licensure:  Permanent, full, unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
