Positions may include some or all of the following: evaluate and treat active duty and reserve members, dependents and retirees in inpatient and/or outpatient environment; prescribe medication; collaborate and consult with other specialists and administrators in other areas of the department, medical facility, etc; participate in QA; work on-call; give lectures; supervise/teach residents, interns, medical students, etc; participate on staff committee functions; and develop and change treatment techniques.
