The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System (NF/SG VHS) is currently recruiting for a one staff physician (Cardiologist) in Medical Service. The North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System, Gainesville Division, is an integral part of the educational and research mission of the University of Florida College of Medicine. POSITION SUMMARY: Provides Cardiology services for adult and geriatric veterans who have a wide spectrum of cardiac diagnoses.

Qualifications and Evaluations

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Candidates must be U.S. or naturalized citizens and be proficient in spoken and written English. Board Certified/Board eligible in internal medicine preferred. Must possess/maintain a current, full and unrestricted license to practice in a state, territory or commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.

You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.

After appointment, you will be subject to random testing for illegal drug use.

You must have a certification, licensure, or registration credentials in License for this position. In some cases, these may be substituted for experience and education.

Applicants for this position must pass a pre-employment medical examination.
