JOB SUMMARY:
The Economic Research Service offers a stimulating environment with

analysis to public and private decision makers on topics related to
food, agriculture, the environment, and rural America. ERS brings
the perspective of economic analysis to critical issues facing
farmers, agribusiness, consumers, and policymakers. In ERS, you will
have opportunities to work independently and on teams on issues
that matter.
The Economic Research Service has multiple positions available.
Applicants should have a solid foundation in microeconomic theory,
strong quantitative skills, and an interest in applied policy-
relevant research. All candidates are expected to have strong
research and writing skills, and the ability to relay results to
both lay and professional audiences. Ability to work independently
and in a team environment is essential.
